Christmas/New Year’s Scheduling. K-1 Employees will receive at least five (5) consecutive days off at Christmas or New Year's. The Hospital will provide time off from the completion of the night shift the day before the holiday that the Employee is granted (either Christmas Day or New Year's Day). Christmas will include Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day and New Year's will include New Year's Eve Day and New Year's Day. Where an Employee requests not to be scheduled off five (5) consecutive days at Christmas or New Year’s, such an Employee is to put her/his request in writing to the Clinical Manager. (a) i) The Christmas period shall be from 0700 hours December 24th, to 0700 hours on December 27th.
