City Manager Authority. The City Manager may demote an employee who so requests it, or whose ability to perform required duties falls below standard, or for disciplinary purposes. No employee shall be demoted to a class for which the employee does not possess the minimum qualifications as determined by the Director of Human Resources.
City Manager Authority. Notwithstanding anything above to the contrary, City Manager shall have the authority to determine and order that CTO be paid or taken as time off.
City Manager Authority. The City Manager may, in writing, amend and/or waive the insurance provisions set forth in paragraph A herein. In such case, the Consultant shall comply with the insurance provisions required by the City Manager.
City Manager Authority. The City Manager or designee for each Party is authorized to act on behalf of the respective Party in all matters relating to this Agreement.
City Manager Authority. Unless otherwise specifically stated, whenever this MOU requires an approval of City, such approval, at his/her sole discretion, may be given by City’s City Manager or his/her designee, if so designated in writing; provided, that the City Manager, in his/her sole discretion, may decide to bring any matter to the City Council; and provided, further, that the City Council reserves the right to determine whether to terminate this MOU as described in Paragraph 9. The City Manager also has the authority to allow minor deviations from the requirements of this MOU, if, in his/her sole discretion, he/she determines it is in the public interest to do so and such deviations are memorialized in writing.
City Manager Authority. Unless otherwise specifically stated, whenever this Agreement requires an approval or signature of the Successor Agency or the City, such approval or signature, at his/her sole discretion, may be given by Successor Agency’s Executive Director or the City’s City Manager or his/her designee, if so designated in writing; provided, that the Executive Director or the City Manager, in his/her sole discretion, may decide to bring any matter to the City Council.
City Manager Authority. The City Manager shall have the authority to give all consents and approvals contemplated hereunder on behalf of City provided they are in writing, and may enter into non- substantial amendments of this Lease, provided they are express and in writing.
City Manager Authority. The City Manager is authorized to act on behalf of the City under this agreement for purposes of sections 1(a), 1(b)(2), 1(b)(3), and 4.
City Manager Authority. On behalf of City, City Manager or his designee (who has been designated in writing by City Manager) shall have the authority to (i) extend any dates under this Agreement, (ii) execute documents required to effect this transaction, and (iii) agree to any non- material modifications of this Agreement.
