CLASSIFICATIONS & DEFINITIONS. SECTION 1-EMPLOYER/CONTRACTOR An EMPLOYER/CONTRACTOR is defined to be an individual, firm, partnership, or corporation, its heirs or their assigns or purchaser, whose business is in the painting, drywall finishing, wall covering, sign painting, glass and glazing or any other work classification covered under the scope of this Agreement.
CLASSIFICATIONS & DEFINITIONS. (a) A “full-time employee” means an employee who is engaged for an indefinite period and who is regularly scheduled to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week averaged over a two (2) week pay period.

Lead Hand Worker within a crew who is assigned the routine responsibility of being the lead member of the crew in the absence of direct supervision by a xxxxxxx and who generally sets the pace for the crew. A lead hand assists the xxxxxxx with the daily organization and control of labour, equipment and materials to ensure that acceptable standards of quality, safety and production are maintained by the crew. Xxxxxxxxx Fully qualified xxxxxxxxx with Certificate of Qualification capable of performing all carpentry work with a minimum of supervision. Operator Operators of: bulldozers, front end loaders, backhoes, tractor backhoes, graders, trenching machines over 50 HP, compactors with blades, augering machines etc. Skilled Labourer Works with virtually no supervision, has competent knowledge of a construction site performing various general labour tasks, and has worked in the construction industry for a number of years. Intermediate Labourer Works under partial supervision performing general labour tasks, and can operate small equipment such as a Forklift or Bobcat. General Labourer Works under close supervision performing general labour tasks, and has limited construction experience.
