Classroom Inclusion. A classroom teacher who provides a service to students with special needs shall be included as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team. A teacher who is a member of an IEP team shall be notified of IEP meetings and shall attend. Every effort shall be made to schedule these meetings within the regular work day. It is understood that the terms of the IEP must be followed by the regular education teacher, whether or not the teacher has participated in the IEP writing process and has signed the IEP. Teachers who service any student(s) whose education is directed by an IEP or a Section 504 Plan shall be notified prior to the first day of school of the students’ name(s) and required classroom modifications. Teachers of students newly enrolled shall be notified as soon as possible. The only exception shall be if such documents are sealed by court order. The Board and the Association agree that administering medication and providing custodial care to students shall not be the routine task of teachers. In an emergency situation, teachers who have been appropriately trained may be assigned to do so.

  • Classroom Observation Classroom observations shall be conducted at least once for all unit members who have not met the threshold for reappointment as defined in Section 10.02 of Article10. Effective fall 2006 classroom observations shall be conducted on DCE form E3. Classroom observations may be conducted for any unit member, at the discretion of the President of the College, or designee thereof, for stated written reasons. Results of said observation shall be communicated to the unit member in writing. The unit member shall be afforded the opportunity to discuss the classroom observation with the evaluator and to respond in writing.

  • Per Diem Nurses 550. If per diem nurses are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours, they shall have access to Municipal Railway passes as necessary.

  • Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.

  • Bilingual Pay 1. Except as provided in 2. below, qualified employees who meet the following criteria shall receive an additional forty (40) cents per hour (approximately sixty-nine [69] dollars per month) for all hours actually paid. This will not apply to the class of Interpreter.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.
