Classroom Visits. Each Teacher Evaluation Report shall be based on at least three (3), and normally not more than eight (8), comprehensive visits which reflect the teacher’s assignment. The teacher shall have the opportunity to select two (2) classroom visits, which may be included in or in addition to the eight (8). The classroom visits for the purpose of preparing the Teacher Evaluation Report can occur at any time during the school year, recognizing that visits in September, June or during the first twenty (20) teaching days of a change of assignment should occur only in extreme situations. Evaluation visits will not occur just prior to, or immediately after, Christmas, Spring Break or during days in which school-wide events are being staged.
