Vacancies and Assignments. 1. Vacancies or newly created positions within the bargaining unit shall be posted for a period of ten (10) days prior to the position being permanently filled. The Board, however, may set aside the ten (10) days if there is an urgent need to fill the position. Vacancy notices shall be emailed to all staff, posted on the district website, posted on bulletin boards in each district building, along with a copy of such posting to the Association.
