Clerical, Maintenance Employees Driver Clerks effective May. 1 year seniority days years seniority days Professionals hired May or year seniority days Employees with less than one year of seniority as of 1 shall receive vacation pro-rated in accordance with the appropriate ‘schedule above. In the event that an employee becomes en- titled to additional vacation through seniority during the vacation year, such vacation must be taken after the employee’s employment anniversary date and within six months of that date, or at such later time as may be agreed upon. Not withstanding anything in the above, any employee referred to in Sections (a), and of Article and who remains on the staff for less than six calendar months shall be entitled to vacation pay only as prescribed in The Employment Standards Act, and amendments thereto. The word “year” as used in this Article (ex- cept in reference to seniority) means the period commencing on the day of May and ending on the day of April next following. Employees while on leave of absence under or for a period of longer than two weeks will receive a prorated vacation entitlement following the year in which the vacation was earned, allowing en- titlement for only those months the employee was not on leave in excess of two weeks.

  • Reporting of Total Compensation of Subrecipient Executives 1. Applicability and what to report.   • Compensation for Loss of Employee Tools (a) The Employer will replace all Employee tools lost or stolen in accordance with the Award.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Non-Employment of COUNTY Personnel 2.1.1 A-E agrees that it will neither negotiate, offer, or give employment to any full-time, regular employee of COUNTY in professional classifications of the same skills required for the performance of this CONTRACT who is involved in this Project in a participatory status during the life of this CONTRACT regardless of the assignments said employee may be given or the days or hours employee may work. 2.1.2 Nothing in this CONTRACT shall be deemed to make A-E, or any of A-E’s employees or agents, agents or employees of the COUNTY. A-E shall be an independent contractor and shall have responsibility for and control over the details and means for performing the work, provided that A-E is in compliance with the terms of this CONTRACT. Anything in the CONTRACT which may appear to give COUNTY the right to direct A-E as to the details of the performance of the work or to exercise a measure of control over A-E shall mean that A-E shall follow the desires of COUNTY, only in the results of the work.

  • Replacement of Key Personnel The Engineer must notify the State in writing as soon as possible, but no later than three business days after a project manager or other key personnel is removed from association with this contract, giving the reason for removal.

  • B4 Key Personnel The Contractor acknowledges that the Key Personnel are essential to the proper provision of the Services to the Authority.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers. 2. Regular review of its job-related and career development and training programs will be made by the State in order to provide suitable programs for employees covered by this Agreement. When undertaking any such review, the State shall notify employees of such review and take into account suggestions and proposals made by employees. 3. Employees shall be given a reasonable notice of applicable, development and training programs available. Such notice shall include an explanation of the procedure for applying for the program. Notices of development and training programs shall be posted for reasonable periods in advance on bulletin boards at applicable work locations within the agencies involved. An appointing authority shall make every effort to permit employees' participation in such career development and training programs. Participation in any training inside or outside of work hours which is required by the State as a condition of fulfilling the requirements of the employee's job, or any in-service State training which is conducted or undertaken during normally scheduled work hours will be considered as time worked. 4. The State shall pay tuition, course-related fees, other approved course required costs and for necessary travel and lodging pursuant to established policies and procedures.
