Common use of CMA Staffing Clause in Contracts

CMA Staffing. CMAs shall not be assigned residents for purposes of meeting minimum CNA staffing ratios on day shift and when there are less than two (2) CMAs on evening and NOC shifts. CMAs and should be given 24 hour advance notice before being pulled to the floor to be assigned residents, if conditions allow. CMAs cannot be assigned residents and passing medications at the same time as is prohibited by state law.
