Collection of Children. 3.1 The people specified in Schedule 2Your Details or Schedule 3 – Contact and Emergency People may collect the child from the Service without written notice. 3.2 Where You require a person other than the people listed as per clause 3.1, You will provide written notice to the Service Director advising of their name, address, date of birth, and specify the date and time they will collect the child. 3.3 All persons referred to in clause 3.1 and 3.2 may have identification requested where they are not known to Service educators when picking up the child 3.4 Where there are Court Orders that are relevant to the collection of the child, You will provide a copy of the Order, and any changes to these, to the Service Director. 3.5 The Service will adhere to the terms of these orders and advise the police of any breach in these orders. 3.6 In the event of a change in family circumstance e.g. relationship break down, removal of children from parent/guardian, informal changes in custody or in the event of children becoming wards of the state; unless the Service is provided with relevant court orders or Apprehended Violence Orders (or similar), the Service is unable to prevent a parent who is a signatory to this Contract from collecting a child from the Service. In the event of the circumstances outlined, and the absence of documentation, the Service will allow the children to be collected by either party, notify the other party as soon as possible, and contact the police to inform them of the situation.

Collection of Children. 8.1 All children are to be collected no later than 5.45pm each day. 8.2 A penalty fee of $7.00 per child for every five minutes after 5.45pm may be charged. 8.3 The supervisor is to be advised if someone other than the appointed person is to collect the child(ren). No child(ren) will be released to an unauthorised person. 8.4 The parent/guardian must sign out children when collected.

In the event of the circumstances outlined, and the absence of documentation, the FDC Educator will allow the children to be collected by either party, notify the other party as soon as possible, and contact the police to inform them of the situation.

It is Your responsibility to update this information within ‘My Family Lounge’ as changes occur. 4.2 You may also need to provide written notice advising of their name, address, date of birth and specify the date and time they will collect the child. Late collections will be charged at £8.00 per half hour for the first hour and then at £10 per half hour following. • If you are late for any reason it is essential that you contact the nursery to inform them.
