College Professor Clause Samples
The 'College Professor' clause defines the rights, responsibilities, or status of an individual serving as a professor at a college or university within the context of an agreement. This clause may outline the professor's teaching obligations, research expectations, or terms of employment, such as tenure, compensation, or academic freedom. By clearly specifying these aspects, the clause helps ensure mutual understanding between the professor and the institution, reducing the risk of disputes and clarifying the professional relationship.
College Professor. An employee who has mastered a body of knowledge adequate for him or her to develop and teach courses or programs within his or her area of specialization. The minimum qualification is a Master’s degree, or equivalent.
College Professor. An employee who has mastered a body of knowledge adequate to develop and teach courses or programs shall have the title of College Professor.
College Professor. The College Professor appointment applies to those Members whose responsibilities include:
a) Teaching;
b) Design and major revision of courses; and,
c) Provision of academic leadership.
College Professor. A full-time employee who has mastered a body of knowledge adequate for him or her to develop and teach courses or programs within his or her area of specialization or a part-time employee who has mastered a body of knowledge adequate for him or her to teach the specific courses for which he or she has been given an appointment.
