Academic Leave Subject to the recommendation of the President/Superintendent and to approval of the Board of Trustees, academic leave may be granted to full-time tenured faculty members for the purpose of academic study or work experience related to their area of instruction for a period of one or two semesters. Academic Program The Charter School shall operate the academic program in accordance with this Agreement, the Charter School’s Application, and applicable state and federal law, including providing at least the same equivalent time of instruction as other public schools and complying with assessment and accountability laws and rules (T.C.A. § 49-13-111). If the Charter School is performing below standards, the Authorizer may review the academic program. The Charter School will notify the Authorizer of any material changes to the academic program that are a change from the Charter School’s Application, and the Authorizer will evaluate to determine if they are material changes to this Agreement. Any changes to the school structure shall be considered material to this Agreement and shall not be permitted unless a formal amendment to this Agreement is secured in advance according to the provisions outlined in T.C.A. § 49-13-110(d), Commission Rule 1185-01-01-.04, and this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, school structure shall be defined as the academic focus or goals of the Charter School and grade levels served.
Academic Freedom and Responsibility 6.1 The University and United Academics agree that academic freedom is essential to the mission of the University and that providing an environment of free and honest inquiry is essential to its functioning. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to limit or abridge any individual's right to free speech or to infringe upon the academic freedom of any member of the University community.
Academic Year Academic Year is defined as beginning with the start of fall semester and ending with the completion of spring semester.

Team Leader In each of the categories described above, a Team Leader, besides knowing all of the specialization and orientation of their category, must have proved certifiable, technical expertise and aptitude, show leadership capabilities in management, coordination, training and work team skills. On the basis of the aforesaid attributes, a person can be promoted to a higher position within the same category and shall be known as Team Leader. The Team Leader will have the necessary knowledge and responsibility for the product, equipment, processes and their quality, Health and Safety Practices, verification of the availability of the necessary inputs and tools, and deviation and follow-up analysis. The Company will select Team Leaders in accordance with Article 14.2 (c). The Team Leader will have authority to direct workers both inside and outside of the bargaining unit.
Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. Vehicles: Rickshaws The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the “Borrowing Agreementâ€) with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point up to 3 days after the date of the official Finish Line Party, then the team will be liable for either the cost to retrieve the Vehicle and/or the "Hire Costs" beyond this date. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.
