COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY. 3.1 The Services to be carried out by the Organisation are set out in the Business Plan and are part of an important relationship between the Council and the community it represents. The Organisation through the Business Plan will ensure that all its policies and activities support the Council’s Sustainability Community Strategy and will on request provide the Council with information to help the Council to update and develop related strategies.

The Council’s Community Strategy contains the key objectives of this relationship. The Organisation has a duty to help deliver those objectives. The Organisation through the Delivery Plan and the Annual Performance Plan will ensure that all its policies and activities support the objectives of all relevant Council strategies (“the Strategies”) including (but not exclusively) the Community Strategy and those other strategies which are entitled, relate to or are the equivalent of the following:- • Housing; • Economic Development; • Anti Poverty; • Social Inclusion; • Crime & Disorder • Neighbourhood Renewal; • Tenant Empowerment; • Home Energy Efficiency; • New Deal for Communities; • Child Support; • Older People; • Supporting People • Health and Housing • Sustainability • Waste collection and recycling • Young people • Education • Homelessness 2.2 For such purposes the Organisation shall:- 2.2.1 ensure all relevant employees are trained and understand the Strategies; 2.2.2 provide information to help the Council up date and develop the Strategies; 2.2.3 demonstrate in the Annual Performance Plan how resources will be used to meet the objectives of the Strategies.

The Cheltenham Strategic Partnership's Sustainable Community Strategy contains the key objectives of this relationship. CBH shall help deliver those objectives. CBH through the Business Plans and the Annual Plans will ensure that its policies and activities support the objectives of all relevant Council strategies that detail the contribution that the Council will make towards delivering the community's ambitions, aspirations and needs (the Strategies) including the Council's Sustainable Community Strategy and those other strategies which are entitled, relate to or are the equivalent of the following: 2.1.1 Cheltenham Borough Council Business Plan 2.1.2 Housing; 2.1.3 Community Cohesion; 2.1.4 Economic Development;

The Organisation through the Delivery Plan and the Annual Performance Plan will ensure that all its policies and activities support the objectives of all relevant current and adopted Council strategies (“the Strategies”) including (but not exclusively) the Community Strategy, the Housing Strategy and those other strategies and any reviews or amendments thereof, which are entitled, relate to or are the equivalent of the following:- ▪ Meeting Housing Need / Tackling Homelessness; ▪ New Harrow Project Aims and Objectives, including First Contact; ▪ Sustainable/ Green Agenda ▪ Community CohesionEconomic Development; • Anti Poverty; • Social Inclusion; • Crime & Disorder • Neighbourhood Renewal; • Tenant Empowerment; • Home Energy Efficiency; • New Deal for Communities; • Child Support; • Older People; • Supporting People • Health and Housing For such purposes the Organisation shall:- 2.1 ensure all staff are trained and understand the Strategies; 2.2 provide information to help the Council up date and develop the Strategies; 2.3 demonstrate in the Annual Performance Plan how resources will be used to meet the objectives of the Strategies. The Council shall consult the Organisation when it proposes to amend or develop the Strategies, and shall receive any suggestions from the Organisation as to how the Strategies may be developed.

The Organisation through the Delivery Plan and Annual Performance Plan will ensure that all its policies and activities support the objectives of these core strategies and all other related strategies including those addressing the following issues: • Housing and Housing Market Renewal; • Economic Development; • Education; • Unitary Development; • Transport; • Agenda 21; • Health Improvement; • Area Regeneration;

Related to COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY

  • Acknowledgement and Consent to Bail-In of EEA Financial Institutions Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Loan Document or in any other agreement, arrangement or understanding among any such parties, each party hereto acknowledges that any liability of any EEA Financial Institution arising under any Loan Document, to the extent such liability is unsecured, may be subject to the write-down and conversion powers of an EEA Resolution Authority and agrees and consents to, and acknowledges and agrees to be bound by: (a) the application of any Write-Down and Conversion Powers by an EEA Resolution Authority to any such liabilities arising hereunder which may be payable to it by any party hereto that is an EEA Financial Institution; and (b) the effects of any Bail-in Action on any such liability, including, if applicable: (i) a reduction in full or in part or cancellation of any such liability; (ii) a conversion of all, or a portion of, such liability into shares or other instruments of ownership in such EEA Financial Institution, its parent undertaking, or a bridge institution that may be issued to it or otherwise conferred on it, and that such shares or other instruments of ownership will be accepted by it in lieu of any rights with respect to any such liability under this Agreement or any other Loan Document; or (iii) the variation of the terms of such liability in connection with the exercise of the write-down and conversion powers of any EEA Resolution Authority.
