Communication via EDI. To ensure a continuous, error-free and real-time flow of information, optimization of the exchange of data required in connection with the delivery process is an important objective for the global automotive industry. Accordingly, EDI-messages in accordance with the message standards which have been developed are transmitted in order to communicate with BBAC. BBAC has created a Web EDI platform for warehouse suppliers and JIT suppliers. These suppliers can log-in the Web EDI for data transmission. Warehouse suppliers or JIT suppliers may also use classic EDI alternatively. In this case the supplier can contact BBAC Logistics and IT department. JIS suppliers have to adopt classic EDI. JIT suppliers have to adopt Web EDI to maintain JIT delivery note. In view of this, the supplier has to fulfill the requirements for communication with BBAC via EDI. Correspondence between the physical scope of the shipment, the content of the EDI-message and the content of the documents accompanying the goods is vital to safeguard the logistical processes. In this regard, the supplier ensures that all of the necessary data and information are transmitted in full, in good time and without errors in the EDI-transmissions. The suppliers have to log EDI to check the latest call -off every day. The delivery by suppliers shall be basis on the latest call -off. The emergent parts must be handled in time. In case of the call-off on EDI is missing or increase/decrease significantly, supplier has to inform such differences to related material controller and get the confirmation. In the event of incorrect or incomplete data transmissions the supplier and BBAC are responsible to determine the root cause. The supplier must bear the resulting costs, insofar as the supplier has caused these incorrectnesses. The level of the costs in this case is oriented towards the prime costs incurred by BBAC for subsequent processing.   • Routine Communications All routine communications related to the Contract shall be sent to the Department’s Contract Manager. If any of the Contractor’s contract information changes during the life of the Contract, the Contractor shall notify the Department’s Contract Manager; such updates do not necessitate a formal amendment to the Contract. Communications relating to a Customer contract or purchase order should be addressed to the contact person identified in the contract or purchase order. Routine communications may be my email, regular mail, or telephone.

  • Union Communication In the event of a violation of the no-strike provision, the Union will: • Publicly disavow such action by the Bargaining Unit Employees; • Notify the Bargaining Unit Employees of its disapproval of such action and instruct such Bargaining Unit Employees to cease such action and return to work immediately; and • Post notices on Union bulletin boards advising that it disapproves of such action and instructing Bargaining Unit Employees to return to work immediately.
