Communication with Parents. A. Bargaining unit members are expected to communicate with parents/guardians/custodians regarding general classroom activities. Bargaining unit members are encouraged to use electronic communication within the scope of their training and consistent with the operation of District hardware/software. B. Bargaining unit members must respond in a timely manner to parent-initiated communications. C. Before a bargaining unit member initiates e-mail communication with a parent/guardian/custodian that includes student personally identifiable information, the parent/guardian/custodian must complete and return to the District the requisite Form authorizing the school to communicate with the parent/guardian/custodian via e-mail.
