Common use of COMPASSIONATE AND BEREAVEMENT LEAVE Clause in Contracts

COMPASSIONATE AND BEREAVEMENT LEAVE. An employee is entitled to 2 days paid compassionate leave on each occasion when a member of the employee's immediate family or household contracts a personal illness or injury posing a serious threat to life. An employee is entitled to 3 days paid bereavement leave on each occasion when a member of the employee's immediate family or household dies.

COMPASSIONATE AND BEREAVEMENT LEAVE. An 52.1 The employee is entitled to 2 a maximum of 3 days paid compassionate or bereavement leave on each occasion when per occasion, in addition to personal leave entitlements, for the purposes of spending time with a member of the employee's their immediate family or household contracts who has a personal life-threatening illness or injury posing a serious threat to life. An employee is entitled to 3 days paid bereavement leave injury, or on each occasion when the death of a member of the employee's their immediate family or household dieshousehold.
