COMPENSATION FOR ACCIDENTS AT WORK. 17.01 In the case of an accident, as a result of which the employee is disabled for the balance of the day's shift, from earning full wages at the work at which he is employed the Company agrees to give the employee loss of earnings compensation covering the day the disability occurred up to one (l) day's pay on the basis of the amount he would have earned at his regular rate had he not been absent from work. The Company agrees to provide work for an employee, following his proper release from the Workers' Compensation Board, provided suitable work is available which the employee is capable of performing.
