COMPENSATION FOR ACCIDENTS AT WORK. 18.01 In the case of an accident as a result of which the employee is disabled for the balance of the day's shift, from earning full wages at the work at which he is employed, the Employer agrees to give the employee loss of earnings compensation covering the day the disability occurred up to one (1) day's pay on the basis of the amount he would have earned at his regular rate had he not been absent from work. 18.02 The parties agree to establish a joint Health and Safety committee which shall be based on two (2) persons as appointed by the Employer and two (2) persons as appointed by the Union. Such committee shall meet not less than once each three (3) months as prescribed in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
