Complimentary Copies. The Author has the right to receive 2 (two) complimentary copies of the issue of the Publication in which the Article appears. In case of a Publication in electronic form, the Author has the right to receive a copy, or to gain access to the relevant Publication. The Author may not put on the market or sell these copies.
Complimentary Copies. The Department shall supply the Author with * free copies of the Work containing the Material subject to the Material being approved in accordance with clause 3 [Approval and Publication Arrangements].
Complimentary Copies. For the first primary use, the Translator is entitled to receive complimentary copies (no fewer than 15). If the translation is subsequently published in a different edition, the Translator is entitled to receive 10 complimentary copies. For anthologies, the Translator is entitled to receive no fewer than 2 complimentary copies. If the translation is used in any other way that makes the Translator eligible for remuneration, the translator is to receive at least 2 free rights of use.
Complimentary Copies. At its own expense, Publisher shall supply Proprietor with (...) complimentary copies of the Publication upon its publication and (...) copies of any reprint of the Publication.
Complimentary Copies. The Publisher agrees to give to each party comprising the Author XX (X) copies of the Work free of charge, and to sell to each party comprising the Author, for personal use and not for resale, further copies of the Work and other books published by the Publisher in print form (excluding the Publisher’s Major Reference Works program) at a discount of thirty percent (30%) off the retail list price.
Complimentary Copies. At its own expense, Publisher shall supply Proprietor with (...) complimentary copies of the Publication upon its publication and (...) copies of any reprint of the Publication as well as (...) ebooks via an access code giving entitlement to (...) free downloads or views. Statements of accounts and settlement of amounts due All amounts due hereunder shall be payable at (specify place), in (specify currency), net of any applicable withholding taxes or bank charges. [OPTION] During (...) financial years30, Publisher may apply a provisional withholding tax calculated by Publisher on the basis of the flow of actual and estimated returns not exceeding... % of net sales for the previous period. This retainer is carried over to the book’s account at the next financial reporting date. Irrespective of the result of the exploitation of the Publication, Publisher shall send Proprietor statements of account in French or, failing that, in English, closed on the ........ (specify date) of each year, specifying the total number of copies31 sold, and shall pay the sums owed within the following............ months by bank transfer into the account indicated by Proprietor32. Proprietor may at any time designate any natural or legal person of its choice to receive the accounts and/or sums owed hereunder in said person’s name on behalf of Proprietor. Publisher shall not however refuse to send the accounts and corresponding payments directly to Proprietor, if the latter so requests. As long as Publisher is accountable to Proprietor, Proprietor or any person authorized by Proprietor shall be entitled to audit all relevant elements (account books, invoices, etc.) in order to certify the accuracy of the accounts and information sent to Proprietor. If the audit reveals an underpayment to Proprietor, Publisher shall promptly pay Proprietor the balance within fifteen (15) days and, if such underpayment exceeds 5% of the declared amount, Publisher shall reimburse Proprietor for the expense of the audit. Complimentary Copies. On publication and production of the Work, eigoMANGA shall give the Creator the following copies of the Work, for Creator’s own use, free of any charge. Royalties shall not be paid on these complimentary copies. • 5 free copies of the Trade Paperback printed edition of the WORK. • 1 free copy of the electronic edition of the WORK on CD/DVD (or other media data storage device) which the Creator can freely duplicate.
Complimentary Copies. The Translator is entitled to receive 10 complimentary copies when the translation is published as an electronic book. If the translation is used in any other way that makes the Translator eligible for remuneration, the Translator is to receive at least 2 free rights of use.
Complimentary Copies. The Publisher shall send to the Proprietor free of charge 2 (TWO) copies of the Translation upon publication, together with confirmation of the date of publication, weblink to the Translation via the Publishers’ website and the published price of the CZECH edition of the Translation. The Proprietor shall have the right to purchase additional copies of the Translation from the Publisher at normal trade terms. In the event of reprinting the Publisher shall supply a digital file of the updated imprints page as proof of publication and may request a further 2 (TWO) complimentarycopies.
Complimentary Copies. Publisher and translator may decide to deviate from this rule on account of special circumstances.
