Compressed. The maximum number of indexes comprised of four (4) days of work with three (3) consecutive days off subject to Article 8.2 composed of ten (10) hours per day and weekly total of forty (40) hours.

Where a compressed shift exists in the functional group where the employee works, an employee may request and will have the ability with the concurrence of employer, to work one of the compressed shift schedules as identified in clause Employer approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Job Employment The terms and conditions governing any job sharing arrangements will be as mutually agreed to by the Union, the Employer, and the participants. Job sharing will only be permitted when requested by existing employees and those employed in job sharing situations will continue to be members of the bargaining unit and covered by the Collective Agreement subject to being prorated where applicable. The terms and conditions of job sharing agreed to by the parties will form part of the Collective Agreement and will have regard for: duration of the arrangement hours of work leave designated paid holidays benefits plans scheduling termination of the arrangements any other matters deemed necessary by the parties In addition, should an existing employee request a part-time work arrangement, the terms and conditions noted above will apply.
