Compressed Work Schedules. 4/9 Work Schedule: This is a fixed schedule where employees complete the basic 80- hours requirement in 8 days of 9 hours of work each day and one day of 8 hours of work with one scheduled non-workday each pay period, totaling 80 hours of work per pay period. To be established, employees request, and supervisors must preapprove, fixed arrival and departure times and a fixed non-workday. Fixed arrival and departure times must be the same for each workday.

B. 4-10 Schedule: A compressed work schedule in which a full time employee works eight (8), ten (10) hour days, for a total of forty (40) hours of work per a week and eighty (80) hours a biweekly pay period. To be established, employees request, and supervisors must preapprove, fixed arrival and departure times and a fixed non-workday. Fixed arrival and departure times must be exclusive of the same for each workdaymeal period provided in Section 6.06 of this Article.
