Temporary Vacancy A vacancy in a position caused by the regularly assigned occupant being absent from duty (including on vacation but excluding pre-retirement vacation) or temporarily assigned to other duties.

Grant of Temporary Entry 1. Each Party shall grant temporary entry to business persons who comply with existing immigration measures applicable to temporary entry such as those relating to public health and safety and national security, in accordance with this Chapter and the terms and conditions of Annex 7 (Commitments for Temporary Entry for Business Persons). 2. Temporary Upgrade An employee in a temporary upgrade status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such temporary upgrade status.
Temporary Appointment The period of County Service of an appointee to a temporary position, subsequently appointed to a permanent position in the same class without a break in service, shall not be included in computing the probationary period.
Temporary Appointments A) The Employer may make a temporary appointment, without posting, to a vacant position provided such position is one in which the former incumbent has terminated employment with the Employer. The temporary appointment shall not exceed thirty (30) work days, unless the Union and the Employer mutually agree to extend this time limit.
STATUS OF TEMPORARY ORDERS All temporary orders previously rendered by the court in the pending dissolution action of the Couple shall be deemed fully satisfied as to those acts whose performance was required on or before the effective date of this Agreement and shall be deemed superseded by this Agreement as to those acts whose performance was not required.
Temporary Nurse A nurse initially hired to work for a defined period not to exceed three (3) months, subject to extension for up to an additional three (3) months. A temporary nurse is not entitled to benefits conferred under Articles 10, 11, 15 or 16, and shall not accrue seniority under Article 12. A temporary nurse who is later hired from this status as a regular or per diem nurse shall be considered a probationary nurse as defined in Article 3.4 from the nurse’s initial date of employment as a temporary nurse.
Temporary Schedule Changes Overtime-eligible employees’ workweeks and/or work schedules may be temporarily changed with prior notice from the Employer. A temporary schedule change is defined as a change lasting thirty (30) calendar days or less. With the exception of the job classifications listed in Appendix B, overtime-eligible employees will receive three (3) calendar days’ written notice of any temporary schedule change. The day that notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Adjustments in the hours of work of daily work shifts during a workweek do not constitute a temporary schedule change.
