Conditions for Qualifying. ● Employees are required to work out a minimum of 1170 minutes per quarter in order to accrue 10 hours of leave. ● A session is considered to be any moderate or higher intensity physical activity lasting a minimum of 15 minutes. ● Participants will complete a Fitness Activity Log demonstrating completion of each workout, which is based on the honor system. At the end of each quarter participants will send the Fitness Activity Log to the Human Resources Department for verification of qualifying activities. The 10 hours of leave will then be credited to the exercise incentive time bank as soon as practical and will be available for immediate use by the employee. ● Each calendar year a maximum of 40 hours can be accrued in a separate exercise incentive time bank, with a maximum of 80 hours allowed in the bank. The exercise incentive time bank has no cash value and the time accrued in this bank has no expiration date. ● Leave time must be coordinated and approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor. ● Participation is voluntary and for those electing to participate, an annual physical fitness assessment at the Monterey Sports Center, which can be used as a 30 minute workout session is encouraged. Individual results of the physical fitness assessment will be confidential between the Monterey Sports Center and the employee. ● Submitting a Fitness Plan Waiver form to Human Resources is required to participate in this program.

  • PROVISIONS FOR NON UNITED STATES FEDERAL ENTITY PROCUREMENTS UNDER UNITED STATES FEDERAL AWARDS OR OTHER AWARDS Participating Entities that use United States federal grant or FEMA funds to purchase goods or services from this Contract may be subject to additional requirements including the procurement standards of the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 C.F.R. § 200. Participating Entities may have additional requirements based on specific funding source terms or conditions.   • Suspension of Funding and Project Agency may by written notice to Grantee, temporarily cease funding and require Grantee to stop all, or any part, of the Project dependent upon Grant Funds for a period of up to 180 days after the date of the notice, if Agency has or reasonably projects that it will have insufficient funds from the Funding Source to disburse the full amount of the Grant Funds. Upon receipt of the notice, Grantee must immediately cease all Project activities dependent on Grant Funds, or if that is impossible, must take all necessary steps to minimize the Project activities allocable to Grant Funds. If Agency subsequently projects that it will have sufficient funds, Agency will notify Grantee that it may resume activities. If sufficient funds do not become available, Grantee and Agency will work together to amend this Grant to revise the amount of Grant Funds and Project activities to reflect the available funds. If sufficient funding does not become available or an amendment is not agreed to within a period of 180 days after issuance of the notice, Agency will either (i) cancel or modify its cessation order by a supplemental written notice or (ii) terminate this Grant as permitted by either the termination at Agency’s discretion or for cause provisions of this Grant.
