Conformity with State and Federal Requirements. The City shall be responsible to design the Project or contract to have the Project designed in conformity with the state and federal design criteria appropriate for the Project in accordance with the current the American Institute of Architects (AIA) standards, the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties, the American Society of Landscape Architects guidelines, KDOT’s Design Engineering Requirements, the current Local Projects LPA Project Development Manual, Bureau of Local Project’s (BLP’s) project memorandums, memos, the KDOT Design Manual, Geotechnical Bridge Foundation Investigation Guidelines, Bureau of Design’s road memorandums, the latest version, as adopted by the Secretary, of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the current version of the Bureau of Transportation Safety and Technology’s Traffic Engineering Guidelines, and the current version of the KDOT Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction with Special Provisions, and any necessary Project Special Provisions, and with the rules and regulations of the FHWA pertaining to the Project.

Conformity with State and Federal Requirements. The City shall be responsible to design or contract to have the Project designed in conformity with the state and federal design criteria appropriate for the Project in accordance with the current Local Projects LPA Project Development Manual, AASHTO A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways & Streets, the KDOT Design Manual, Geotechnical Bridge Foundation Investigation Guidelines, Bureau of Road Design’s road memorandums, the latest version, as adopted by the Secretary, of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the current version of the Bureau of Traffic Engineering’s Traffic Engineering Guidelines, and the current version of the KDOT Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction with Special Provisions, and any necessary Project Special Provisions required by the Secretary or by the City with the Secretary’s concurrence, and with the rules and regulations of the FHWA pertaining to the Project. The City will be responsible for construction of any traffic signal and/or sidewalk improvements that are necessary to comply with Public Right-of- Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), regardless of whether such improvements are deemed ineligible or Non-Participating items by the Secretary for reimbursement purposes.
Conformity with State and Federal Requirements. The City shall be responsible to design the Project or contract to have the Project designed in conformity with the state and federal design criteria appropriate for the Project as set forth in the current versions of the following documents as applicable: KDOT Local Project LPA Project Development Manual; KDOT Design Manual; City of Overland Park Procedures Manual; KDOT Geotechnical Bridge Foundation Investigation Guidelines; KDOT Bureau of Design’s road memorandums; KDOT Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction with Special Provisions, and with any necessary Project Special Provisions required by the Secretary or by the City with the Secretary’s concurrence; A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Policy; and the latest version, as adopted by the Secretary, of the Manual on Unified Traffic Control Devices (“MUTCD”).

Related to Conformity with State and Federal Requirements

  • Compliance with State and Federal Laws The Contractor shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations relevant to the performance of the Contract. Compliance shall be the responsibility of the Contractor, without reliance on or direction by the DRS.

  • Provide Data In Compliance With State and Federal Law LEA shall provide data for the purposes of the Service Agreement in compliance with FERPA, COPPA, PPRA, Texas Education Code Chapter 32, and all other Texas privacy statutes cited in this DPA as these laws and regulations apply to the contracted services. The LEA shall not be required to provide Data in violation of applicable laws. Operator may not require LEA or users to waive rights under applicable laws in connection with use of the Services.
