Conservation Progress Assessment. The Conservation Team will provide biennial reports on conservation action progress to the signatory agencies. In addition, the range-wide status assessment (Assessment and Template for Conservation Measures) will be updated during the last year of this five-year Agreement period. Copies will be distributed by the Conservation Team to signatories and interested parties and made available to the public.

This assessment will determine the effectiveness of this agreement and whether revisions are warranted. It will be provided to the Division Director by the LCCT. The Director will provide copies of this assessment to the signatories of this document. If threats to the survival of the least chub become known that are not or cannot be resolved through this or any Conservation Agreement, the Division will immediately notify all signatories.
Conservation Progress Assessment. ▪ A range-wide assessment of progress towards implementing actions identified in this Agreement and each state conservation and management plan will be provided to the signatories by the Coordination Team in the first, fifth and tenth years of the Agreement and every fifth year thereafter as dictated by any extension of this instrument beyond ten years. Copies of the annual assessment will be provided to the signatories, and to interested parties upon request.

Annual progress toward achieving Strategy goals will be compiled from Conservation Team meetings, and all new relevant information will be incorporated into the CRCT GIS annually.

This assessment will be based on updates and evaluations summarized by VSCT members. * An annual assessment of conservation accomplishments identified in Table 1 and subsequent yearly schedules will be made by VSCT. It will be provided to FWS by UDWR. * If it becomes known that there are threats to the survival of the Virgin spinedace that are not or cannot be resolved through this or any Conservation Agreement, the FWS will initiate actions to list this species under Section 4 of ESA through an emergency rule.

This assessment will be based on updates and evaluations by BBCRT members. The Director will provide copies of this assessment to the signatories of this document. * An annual assessment of conservation accomplishments identified in Table 1 and subsequent yearly schedules will be made by the BBCRT. This assessment will determine the effectiveness of this agreement and whether revisions are warranted. It will be provided to the Director of UDWR by BBCRT. The Director will provide copies of this assessment to the signatories of this document. * If threats to the survival of the least chub become known that are not or cannot be resolved through this or any Conservation Agreement, the UDWR immediately will notify all signatories. The FWS reserves the right to list the least chub if actions to remove threats are not proceeding according to the established schedules, not withstanding funding limitations.
Conservation Progress Assessment. An annual progress report and assessment will be completed by the NBCTCT and provided to signatories to this Agreement. The assessment will consider the effectiveness of conservation activities in achieving the desired goals and objectives of the Agreement, and whether modifications are needed. • If threats to the survival of the BCT become known that are not or cannot be resolved through this Agreement, NDOW will immediately notify all signatories. DURATION OF AGREEMENT The initial term of this Agreement shall be 10 years. Prior to the end of each 5-year period, a thorough analysis of actions implemented for the species will be conducted by the NBCTCT. If all signatories agree that sufficient progress has been made towards the conservation of the BCT, this Agreement shall be extended for an additional five (5) years. During the last year in which it is valid, the Agreement will be reviewed and either modified, renewed, or terminated. Any party may withdraw from this Agreement on sixty (60) days written notice to the other parties. NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT (NEPA) COMPLIANCE The Agreement and attached Strategy are being developed for planning purposes. Before any Federal actions can occur on USFS, BLM, or NPS administered lands, a determination must be made whether or not the Agreement and Strategy are consistent with existing land use plans and whether or not NEPA analysis is required. Certain actions by the State of Nevada are not subject to NEPA analysis, with some exceptions where Federal funding is utilized.
