It is the responsibility of the Contractor, with the assistance of Matimba personnel to obtain permits to work (PTW) in time in order not to delay the start of the project. All PTW will be issued by the permit coordinator. No firearms, weapons, alcohol, illegal substances and cameras (including cell phones with cameras) are permitted on Site. No ‘Private Work’ is carried out for or on behalf of any Eskom employee. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol is tested and if proven positive, is refused entry to the security area. The Contractor applies for permits at the Security gate, prior to the starting date. All Contractors personnel will be issued with a temporary access permit, which will contain the following information: Name ID Number Company Validity date In order to assist Protective Services with the using of permits and the identification of the personnel on site, the Contractor is to supply a list of all personnel that he intends using on site, at least 24-hours prior to entry of the Security Area. The list, identified with the Contractor’s name, is to contain the following information: o Employee name. o Employee ID number o Employer’s Representative signature o Copy of the first page of the ID book of every employee of the Contractor The Contractor personnel will be required to be in possession of their Contractor’s permit at all times. All Contractors’ permits must be submitted to Protective Service when the relevant personnel leave the site after completion of the works. The Contractor/s visitors and all personnel conform at all times, to the security arrangements in force at the time. No unauthorized vehicles are allowed on site. Only Contractor’s vehicles with displayed contract vehicle permit disks will be allowed on site. Contract vehicle Permit Applications should be directed to the Employer’s Representative. The Contractor is restricted to the working areas associated with the scope of work. The Contractor is forbidden to enter any other areas, and must ensure that his employees abide by these regulations. Lost or damaged permits may be re-issued at a cost to be paid to the Employer by the Contractor Road sign’s and the speed limit on site are adhered to. Contractors are advised to make arrangements with homeowners should they prefer to complete the work on Saturday, in which case. The weekday working time periods will apply. No work shall be carried out on Sundays - The PMO will arrange access to household. Kindly stick to the agreed time/scheduled time.

Requirements for the program The contractor must develop a detailed program that indicate what will be done from start to finish. Should the programme change during the execution of the work, the Contractor must supply the Employer with an updated programme indicating the change in the programme and the effect it would have on the completion of subsequent activities. The Contractor must supply a Process Quality Plan of the work activities to the Employer one day after the order award date, for approval and inclusion of inspection points to be witnessed by the Employer’s Representative. Work may only continue once the Process Quality Plan has been approved by the Employer. The Contractor will inform the Employer three days in advance of reaching an inspection hold point. Work may not continue beyond any point on the Process Quality Plan, marked as a Hold Point by the Employer, if the Hold Point has not been signed off on the Process Quality Plan by the Employer’s Representative.
