CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND OBSERVATION. 1.3.1 Conduct pre-construction conference with OWNER and contractor. 1.3.2 Check all equipment/shop drawings and other submittals by the construction contractor. 1.3.3 Prepare any change orders for approval by OWNER. 1.3.4 Review the contractor’s monthly payment requests and forward payment requests to 1.3.5 Provide contract document interpretations. 1.3.6 Make final inspection of the completed PROJECT with the OWNER. 1.3.7 Prepare “As Constructed Drawings” and provide two sets of prints to OWNER. 1.3.8 ENGINEER will provide a competent part time Resident Project Representative who will observe the work while construction is in progress. The ENGINEER will make periodic on-site observations during and at the completion of the PROJECT. Such construction observation does not guarantee the work of the contractor nor provide any control over the contractor’s work methods. The presence or absence of a construction observer does not relieve the contractor of sole responsibility for safety at the work site.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND OBSERVATION. Attend monthly construction progress meetings, take meeting minutes and distribute minutes to all attendees. Assume 8 construction progress meetings will occur over an approximate 12 month duration. - Make periodic fields visits to observe the construction of the project, discuss concerns with the City inspector, and furnish the City a written summary of the visit. Assume nine (9) field visits. - Provide clarification and interpretation of the Contract Documents when requested. If requested by the City, evaluate any requests for changes in contract price and time made by the Contractor, and provide assistance with the preparation of change orders, if required.

  • Construction Observation The Consultant shall make periodic on-site observations of the Project in accordance with Exhibit A. The purpose of the on-site observations will be to observe the progress and quality of the construction work being carried on to determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the Construction Documents. Unless otherwise stated in Exhibit A, the Consultant shall not be required to make exhaustive or continuous on-site observations to check the quality or quantity of the work.

  • Information Systems Acquisition Development and Maintenance a. Client Data – Client Data will only be used by State Street for the purposes specified in this Agreement.

  • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Construction Phase Services 3.1.1 – Basic Construction Services

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.

  • Reverse Engineering The Customer must not reverse assemble or reverse compile or directly or indirectly allow or cause a third party to reverse assemble or reverse compile the whole or any part of the software or any products supplied as a part of the Licensed System.

  • Construction Services 4,500 thousand SDR for Japan Post in Group A 15,000 thousand SDR for all other entities in Group A 4,500 thousand SDR for entities in Group B Architectural, engineering and other technical services covered by this Agreement: 450 thousand SDR

  • Uncovering and Correction of Work 12.1 The Contractor shall promptly correct Work rejected by the Owner or failing to conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents, whether observed before or after Substantial Completion and whether or not fabricated, installed or completed, and shall correct any Work found to be not in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents within a period of two years from the date of Substantial Completion, or by terms of an applicable special warranty required by the Contract Documents. The provisions of this Article apply to work done by Subcontractors as well as to Work done by direct employees of the Contractor. 12.2 At any time during the progress of the work, or in any case where the nature of the defects shall be such that it is not expedient to have them corrected, the Owner, at their option, shall have the right to deduct such sum, or sums, of money from the amount of the contract as they consider justified to adjust the difference in value between the defective work and that required under contract including any damage to the structure.
