CONSTRUCTION PERSONNEL AND SUPERVISION. 3.4.1 The Contractor shall provide a competent level of supervision for the performance of the Work at the Project, AGC DOCUMENT NO. 200 STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT AND GENERAL CONDITIONS BETWEEN OWNER AND CONTRACTOR (Where the Contract Price is a Lump Sum) 1997, The Associated General Contractors of America including a Contractor’s Representative who shall possess full authority to receive instructions from Owner and to act on those instructions.

Before commencing the Work, the Construction Manager shall notify the Owner in writing of the name and qualifications of its proposed superintendent(s) and project manager, so the Owner may review the individual's qualifications. If, for reasonable cause, the Owner refuses to approve the individual, or withdraws its approval after once giving it, the Construction Manager shall name a different superintendent or project manager for the Owner's review. Any disapproved superintendent or project manager shall not perform in that capacity thereafter at the Worksite. The project manager and superintendent shall not be changed without prior written consent of the Owner unless they cease to be in the employ of the Construction Manager. The superintendent, or another qualified representative designated by the Construction Manager and approved by the Owner, shall be in attendance at the Project site during performance of the Work and shall represent the Construction Manager.

The Construction Manager shall be responsible to the Owner for acts or omissions of Parties or entities performing portions of the Work for or on behalf of the Construction Manager or any of its Subcontractors. The Construction Manager and its Subcontractors shall permit only fit and skilled persons to perform the Work and shall not permit any persons on site which would violate court orders for convicted sex offenders. The Construction Manager shall enforce safety procedures, strict discipline and good order among persons performing the Work. If the Owner becomes aware that a particular person has failed to follow any state or federal law and Owner policies, including but not limited to Sexual Harassment, and does not follow safety procedures, or is unfit or unskilled for the assigned work, the Construction Manager shall immediately reassign the person on receipt of the Owner's written notice to do so. The Owner will not tolerate sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination as defined in the Code of Iowa and is a violation of both state and federal law.

  • Construction Management Landlord or its Affiliate or agent shall supervise the Work, make disbursements required to be made to the contractor, and act as a liaison between the contractor and Tenant and coordinate the relationship between the Work, the Building and the Building’s Systems. In consideration for Landlord’s construction supervision services, Tenant shall pay to Landlord a construction supervision fee equal to three percent (3%) of Tenant’s Costs specified in Section 7.

  • Oversight The Licensing Officer shall oversee the quality of the services provided by the Licensee and the reasonableness of the prices charged. The Licensing Officer may advise the Licensee from time to time of any source of dissatisfaction and request correction.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Operational Control Directing the operation of the Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control to maintain these facilities in a reliable state, as defined by the Reliability Rules. The ISO shall approve operational decisions concerning these facilities, made by each Transmission Owner before the Transmission Owner implements those decisions. In accordance with ISO Procedures, the ISO shall direct each Transmission Owner to take certain actions to restore the system to the Normal State. Operational Control includes security monitoring, adjustment of generation and transmission resources, coordination and approval of changes in transmission status for maintenance, determination of changes in transmission status for reliability, coordination with other Control Areas, voltage reductions and Load Shedding, except that each Transmission Owner continues to physically operate and maintain its facilities.

  • Supervision The Recipient shall provide and maintain competent and adequate project management covering the supervision and inspection of the development and construction of the Project and bear the responsibility of ensuring that construction conforms to the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications.
