Construction Sales Tax Reimbursement. 3.1.1 The “Construction Sales Tax Reimbursement” shall be made in an aggregate amount not to exceed $300,000. Subject to the maximum reimbursement set forth in the preceding sentence, this reimbursement shall be in an amount equal to the actual City sales, use and all other applicable transaction privilege taxes generated by the purchase of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the New Premises and/or the Existing Premises, and construction costs and tenant improvements for the New Premises, in each case from and after the Base Date and prior to the third anniversary of the Effective Date (“Eligible Taxes”). For purposes hereof, the portion of the Eligible Taxes that is relevant is a 1.2% unrestricted sales tax, and no amount of any tax collected is eligible for reimbursement until actually received by the City in connection with the filing by the applicable taxable party of the required tax return and payment for the period to which the payment relates. In this respect, SVB acknowledges that payment by the City will be spread over the term of this Agreement and will depend entirely on expenditures for the Existing Premises and/or the New Premises, and will also be subject to Employer’s creation and retention of Qualified Net New Positions as set forth herein.

  • Travel Expense Reimbursement Pricing for services provided under this Contract are exclusive of any travel expenses that may be incurred in the performance of those services. Travel expense reimbursement may include personal vehicle mileage or commercial coach transportation, hotel accommodations, parking and meals; provided, however, the amount of reimbursement by Customers shall not exceed the amounts authorized for state employees as adopted by each Customer; and provided, further, that all reimbursement rates shall not exceed the maximum rates established for state employees under the current State Travel Management Program (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/procurement/prog/stmp/). Travel time may not be included as part of the amounts payable by Customer for any services rendered under this Contract. The DIR administrative fee specified in Section 5 below is not applicable to travel expense reimbursement. Anticipated travel expenses must be pre-approved in writing by Customer.

  • Meal Reimbursement 1. If an employee is required to work one and one-half (1-1/2) hours before or beyond his/her normal working day or on overtime for emergency purposes or for extended work periods of five (5) or more hours in length on a day that is not the employee’s regular work day, and the employee is not exercising flexible work hours, the employee shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of a meal/food items not to exceed $18.00, plus tip (not to exceed 15%) and applicable taxes. Reimbursement is contingent upon the employee providing receipts.

  • Mileage Reimbursement A. Subject to the current Vehicle Rules and Regulations established by the Board, an employee who is authorized to use a private automobile in the performance of duties shall be reimbursed for each mile driven in the performance of his or her duties during each monthly period as follows:

  • Construction Costs Under no circumstances shall the Consultant be liable for extra costs or other consequences due to unknown conditions or related to the failure of contractors to perform work in accordance with the plans and specifications. Consultant shall have no liability whatsoever for any costs arising out of the Client’s decision to obtain bids or proceed with construction before the Consultant has issued final, fully-approved plans and specifications. The Client acknowledges that all preliminary plans are subject to substantial revision until plans are fully approved and all permits obtained.

  • Construction Cost Budget The total cost to District of all elements of the Project designed or specified by the Architect, as adjusted during and at the end of the design phase in accordance with this Agreement and the Agreement for Architectural Services. The Construction Cost Budget does not include the compensation of the Project Design Team, the Program Manager (if any), the Construction Manager and any subconsultants, the cost of the land, rights-of-way, or financing which are the responsibility of the District.

  • EQUIPMENT TAX ASSESSMENT 17.1 Any bid for public improvement shall comply with Nebraska Revised Statutes Section 77-1323 and 77-1324. Indicating; every person, partnership, limited liability company, association or corporation furnishing labor or material in the repair, alteration, improvement, erection, or construction of any public improvement shall sign a certified statement which will accompany the contract. The certified statement shall state that all equipment to be used on the project, except that acquired since the assessment date, has been assessed for taxation for the current year, giving the county where assessed.
