Continuing Education Leave. A. Employees in classifications listed below will be entitled to educational leave to obtain continuing education units. The leave time can be taken at the employee's discretion subject to the operational need of the department and reasonable advance notice. In-service training courses for which CEU credit is provided may be counted at the State's option towards the hours of education leave. This leave is non-cumulative.
