Contractor’s Acknowledgement of County’s Commitment to Safely Surrendered Baby Law
8.13.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the County places a high priority on the implementation of the Safely Surrendered Baby Law. The Contractor understands that it is the County’s policy to encourage all County Contractors to voluntarily post the County’s “Safely Surrendered Baby Law” poster, in Exhibit I, in a prominent position at the Contractor’s place of business. The Contractor will also encourage its subcontractors, if any, to post this poster in a prominent position in the Subcontractor’s place of business. Contractor’s Acknowledgement. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that the Department will conduct Entry Level Checks (at the Department’s expense) on all new Specified Personnel put forward under clause 17.1 and who will be providing Agent Services, and that further Entry Level Checks may be conducted in relation to any Specified Personnel and at any time during the Term. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that where a person nominated as Specified Personnel refuses to comply with an Entry Level Check, that person will be immediately excluded from the Specified Personnel as under clause 17.5.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. CONTRACTOR acknowledges its understanding that HHSC’s overall objective in engaging CONTRACTOR pursuant to this Agreement is to obtain efficiently delivered services for the establishment and operation of local NFP programs.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that it has read this Contract and is familiar with and fully understands the terms and obligations set out in this Contract and CONTRACTOR’S obligations and responsibilities for performance. CONTRACTOR further acknowledges that any questions concerning the terms and conditions of this Contract have been satisfactorily explained to CONTRACTOR by CENTER.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that CITY will not pay for, but the CITY may arrange for, the disposal of Residue from Large Items (except those directed to another location pursuant to Article 6) or Used Oil processing. The rates for these services include compensation to the CONTRACTOR for the cost of disposal. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that the disposal of all such materials is the sole responsibility of CONTRACTOR, and that CONTRACTOR will not receive additional payment for the cost of disposal.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that 5 CITY will not arrange for or pay for the disposal of Residue from Recyclable Materials or 6 Large Items (except those directed to another location pursuant to Section 5.04.5), or 7 Used Oil processing. The disposal of all such materials is the sole responsibility of 8 CONTRACTOR.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. Contractor acknowledges that the nom-solicitation and confidentiality restrictions in Section 8 will not interfere with Contractor’s ability to make a living performing the type of Services Contractor performs as an independent contractor.
Contractor’s Acknowledgement. The Contractor has agreed to be a party to this Deed for the purposes of acknowledging that the Construction Sub-Contractor shall not be in breach of the Construction Contract or any warranty to the Contractor by complying with the obligations imposed upon it under this Deed and that the Contractor agrees in particular with the provisions of Clause 11 (Step-In Rights) hereof.
