Contributions and Expenses. The Company makes no commitment with respect to the nature of amount of the welfare benefits which shall be provided by the Welfare Trust Fund, and the total expense to be incurred by the Company for the duration of the Agreement with regard to the welfare program shall be the contribution specified above. All expenses incidental to the institution, promulgation or administration of the Welfare Trust Fund are to be paid out of the monies of said Welfare Trust Fund.
Contributions and Expenses. Members and Affiliated Parties shall share in the general operating and administrative costs of operating the Agency in accordance with the funding amounts set forth in Exhibit D attached hereto and incorporated herein. Each Member and Affiliated Party will be assessed quarterly, beginning on July 1 of each year. Members and Affiliated Parties shall pay assessments within thirty (30) days of receiving assessment notice from the Treasurer. Each Member and each Affiliated Party will be solely responsible for raising funds for payment of the Member’s or Affiliated Party’s share of the Agency’s general operating and administrative costs. The obligation of each Member and each Affiliated Party to make payments under the terms and provision of this Agreement is an individual and several obligation and not a joint obligation with those of the other Members and Affiliated Parties. Contributions of grant funding, state, federal, or county funding may be provided as funding or a portion of funding on behalf of Members and Affiliated Parties.
Contributions and Expenses a. Members shall share in the general operating and administrative and project costs of operating the Authority, as outlined in the annual budget documents. Each Member shall be responsible for contributing their respective share of such costs either: a) through an agreed upon contribution; b) as determined by any groundwater fee program for the Cosumnes Subbasin that may be developed by the Authority and implemented pursuant to Section 3.6j; or c) as otherwise agreed upon either thru amendment to this agreement, or by way of a separate funding agreement, as described in Section 5.1, above.
b. The Board of Directors may approve, from time to time, an advance or contribution to proposed projects or program specific activities. The reimbursement of these startup costs or contributions from subscribing Members will be required once the contemplated project or program is implemented as contained in the project/program agreement, unless of the Board of Directors determines otherwise.
c. Project or program specific expenses, performed at the request of, or on behalf of Members shall have dedicated funding sources as described and contained in the project/program agreement.
d. It is understood that the Board may arrange for the payment of the expenses of the Authority through some other source, including but not limited to State or federal grants or loans.
e. In accordance with Government Code section 6512.1, repayment or return to the Members of all or part of any contributions made by the Members may be directed by the Board at such time, and upon such terms as may be consistent with any indebtedness incurred by the Authority. The Authority shall hold title to all funds and property acquired by it during the term of this Agreement.
f. Each Member’s share of costs of the Authority, not otherwise covered by fees directly collected by the Authority, shall be assessed twice yearly, ordinarily in January and May. Such amount shall be delivered to the Treasurer. Members shall pay assessments within thirty days of receiving assessment notice from the Treasurer.
Contributions and Expenses. The Company will, from time to time, make contributions to the Company Trust in accordance with the applicable Trust Agreement and the Plan. Benefits payable under the Plan are intended first to be paid from the Company Trust. To the extent the funds in the Company Trust are not sufficient (or are not paid by the Trustee), all Plan benefits shall be paid by the Company.

Contributions to the Pension Scheme are not paid in arrear and all contributions and other amounts which have fallen due for payment other than that payment due on 19 October 2004 which was collected from salaries paid in September 2004 have been paid punctually. No fee, charge or expense relating to or in connection with the Pension Scheme has been incurred but not paid. If any such fee, charge or expense has been paid by any person other than the Pension Scheme the Pension Scheme has reimbursed that person if and to the extent that The Pension Scheme is or may become liable so to do.

The Parties agree to fund Basin-wide activities, including development of the GSP, in a manner consistent with how each of the Parties’ Members funded participation in the Turlock Groundwater Basin Association (“TGBA”). Funding for non-basin- wide activities or other activities that the Parties separately agree shall not be split proportionately, shall be through a separate Project Agreement. For the activities under Project Agreements, the Joint TAC shall develop a scope of work, proposed cost allocation, and separate Project Agreement that would need to be approved by each Party’s respective governing board before it is binding on such Parties. This provision shall be revisited by the Parties upon completion of the GSP or 2022, whichever is earlier.
Contributions and Expenses. Each of the Parties shall be responsible to fund its participation in this Agreement. Funding outside costs, such as consultants, projects, or other Basin-wide activities shall be determined separately for each project. For any such Basin-wide project, the Coordination Committee shall develop a scope of work and recommend a cost allocation for each of the Parties that would need to be approved by a Party' s governing board before it is binding on that Party.

Each Member shall be individually responsible for its own covenants, obligations, and liabilities under this Agreement. No Member shall be under the control of or shall be deemed to control any other Member. No Member shall be precluded from independently pursuing any of the activities contemplated in this Agreement. No Member shall be the agent or have the right or power to bind any other Member without such Member’s express written consent, except as expressly provided in this Agreement.
