Corrections Officers. Corrections Officers shall receive $.50 per hour when carrying a weapon for duty as assigned.
Corrections Officers. 1. Corrections Officers with standard responsibilities shall normally be scheduled seven (7) twelve (12) hour shifts for eighty-four (84) hours in each fourteen (14) day work period.
2. Corrections Officers assigned to serve as a Court Officer, Training Officer, a Commissary Officer, or a Classification Officer shall normally be scheduled ten (10) eight (8) hour shifts, Monday through Friday, for eighty (80) hours in each fourteen (14) day work period.

Corrections Officers assigned to serve as a Court Officer, a Training and Computer Technician Officer, a Commissary Officer, a Community Services Officer and a Classification Officer shall be paid at the rate of time and one half (1 1/2) at their regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of eighty (80) hours in each fourteen (14) day work period.

Corrections Officers. A. Corrections Officers hired after ratification of the 2009 - 2011 contract will be hired at base salary and receive salary adjustments in accordance with Section 1.B. of Appendix A, Wage and Salary Administration.
B. Corrections Officers hired prior to July 1st of any calendar year, shall on the January 1st following their date of employment, receive a regular step increase; old Corrections Officers hired after July 1st of any calendar year, shall on the January 1st following their date of employment, receive one-half (½) of a regular step increase, and one-half (½) of a regular step increase on the following July 1st. They shall advance to the next regular step on the following January 1st.
Corrections Officers. If the decision is made to go to minimum staffing on a designated holiday, the least senior employee on the affected shift will be required to take the holiday off if no other employee on that shift volunteers.
Corrections Officers. Effective the first pay period after July 1, 2023, wages shall be increased by three percent (3.0%). Effective the pay period that includes July 1, 2024, wages shall be increased by three percent (3.0%). Effective the pay period that includes July 1, 2025, wages shall be increased by three percent (3.0%). Corrections Officers. 19.5.1 Corrections Officers will not be required to assume cooking or dishwashingduties except in emergency situations as declared by die Sheriff or designee.
Corrections Officers assigned to serve as a firearms instructor, BAC instructor, defensive tactics instructor, and/or less lethal instructor shall receive a two percent (2.0%) premium added to the monthly rate of pay, retroactive to January 1, 2023.
