Common use of Court Appearance/Jury Duty/Judicial Proceedings Clause in Contracts

Court Appearance/Jury Duty/Judicial Proceedings. An employee called for jury duty or subpoenaed as a witness in any judicial proceedings shall receive a normal day's pay, less any amount paid by the court for jury duty, or less any amount to which the employee is entitled as a witness. The employee should only plan to be away from his/her job the necessary time to fulfill their civic responsibility.
