Courtesy Clerk. A Courtesy Clerk is an employee whose duties do not include any of the work of a regular clerk. Courtesy Clerks may perform cleanup work anywhere in the store. Courtesy Clerks may keep the checkstands stocked with supplies. Courtesy Clerks may handle merchandise after it has become the property of the customer and may also assist the checker or cashier in removing merchandise from the baskets or pushcarts and may return carry-backs to the shelves. Courtesy Clerks may collect and line up pushcarts or baskets and return them to the market and may keep the parking lot orderly and free from refuse. Courtesy Clerks may carry empty bottles to a collection point, sort and account for same and may also carry refuse to a point of disposal. Courtesy Clerks may hang signs and may put up any non-price specific signs and their duties include breaking up, removal and baling of cartons. Courtesy Clerks may put up and/or remove ice. The work to be performed by Courtesy Clerks is limited to the duties set forth in this Paragraph.

Courtesy Clerk. 1. A Courtesy Clerk is one whose duties consist of the tidy up work around the checkstands and in the' area between the checkstands and the cus­ tomers’ entrances to the markets. Courtesy Clerks may keep the checkstands stocked with supplies, such supplies not to include merchandise offered for sale. Courtesy Clerks may handle merchandise after it becomes the property of the customer. Courtesy Clerks may collect and line up push carts or baskets from the parking lot and return them to the market, and may keep that area orderly and free from refuse. Courtesy Clerks may carry empty bottles to a collection point located in the front part of the store and refuse to a point of disposal located outside the store.
Courtesy Clerk. A courtesy clerk is an employee who handles merchandise only after the merchandise becomes the property of the customer. This work shall be limited to the bagging or boxing of groceries and delivering them to the customer’s vehicle, returning the empty push carts to the store, tidy up in front of the check stand and parking lot. The Employer agrees that such employee shall not be required or permitted to perform any other duties whatsoever. It is further agreed that each store shall be entitled to one (1) courtesy clerk but not more than one (1) for each multiple of five (5) regular clerks in the store employed by the Employer.

  • Time and Attention Excluding any periods of vacation and sick leave to which the Executive is entitled, the Executive shall devote substantially all of his attention and time during normal working hours to the business and affairs of the Company and its affiliates. It shall not be considered a violation of the foregoing, however, for the Executive to (i) serve on corporate, industry, educational, religious, civic, or charitable boards or committees or (ii) make and attend to passive personal investments in such form as will not require any material time or attention to the operations thereof during normal working time and will not violate the provisions of section 10 hereof, so long as such activities in clauses (i) and (ii) do not materially interfere with the performance of the Executive’s responsibilities as an employee of the Company in accordance with this Agreement or violate section 10 of this Agreement.

  • Format and Signing of Tender 19.1 The Tenderer shall prepare one original of the documents comprising the Tender as described in ITT 11 and clearly mark it “ORIGINAL.” Alternative Tenders, if permitted in accordance with ITT 12, shall be clearly marked “ALTERNATIVE.” In addition, the Tenderer shall submit copies of the Tender, in the number specified in the TDS and clearly mark them “COPY.” In the event of any discrepancy between the original and the copies, the original shall prevail. 19.2 Tenderers shall mark as “CONFIDENTIAL” information in their Tenders which is confidential to their business. This may include proprietary information, trade secrets, or commercial or financially sensitive information. 19.3 The original and all copies of the Tender shall be typed or written in indelible ink and shall be signed by a person duly authorized to sign on behalf of the Tenderer. This authorization shall consist of a written confirmation as specified in the TDS and shall be attached to the Tender. The name and position held by each person signing the authorization must be typed or printed below the signature. All pages of the Tender where entries or amendments have been made shall be signed or initialed by the person signing the Tender. 19.4 In case the Tenderer is a JV, the Tender shall be signed by an authorized representative of the JV on behalf of the JV, and so as to be legally binding on all the members as evidenced by a power of attorney signed by each members' legally authorized representatives. 19.5 Any inter-lineation, erasures, or overwriting shall be valid only if they are signed or initialed by the person signing the Tender.

  • Authorised signatories The Authority shall require the Independent Engineer to designate and notify to the Authority and the Concessionaire up to 2 (two) persons employed in its firm to sign for and on behalf of the Independent Engineer, and any communication or document required to be signed by the Independent Engineer shall be valid and effective only if signed by any of the designated persons; provided that the Independent Engineer may, by notice in writing, substitute any of the designated persons by any of its employees.

  • Authorised Signatory An authorised signatory is required to sign this Data Sharing Agreement after all recommendations made by the Data Governance Board have been addressed and before the Data Sharing Agreement can be executed. This signatory has the role of accountability for the data sharing defined in this Data Sharing Agreement and holds the post of Principal Officer (equivalent) or above.   • Resolution of Jointly Owned Parsonage Local Church and any other church with which it jointly owns a parsonage property must resolve the ownership of the parsonage by one party conveying its interest to the other by agreement (on any terms to which those parties may agree) or by process set out in the Discipline, or otherwise sell the parsonage and divide the proceeds on a pro-rata basis.

  • Instructions, Opinion of Counsel and Signatures At any time DST may apply to any person authorized by the Fund to give instructions to DST, and may with the approval of a Fund officer consult with legal counsel for the Fund, or DST’s outside legal counsel at the expense of the Fund, with respect to any matter arising in connection with the agency and it will not be liable for any action taken or omitted by it in good faith in reliance upon such instructions or upon the opinion of such counsel. In connection with services provided by DST under this Agency Agreement that relate to compliance by the Fund with the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or any other tax law, including without limitation the services described in Section 6.B, DST shall have no obligation to continue to provide such services after it has asked the Fund to give it instructions which it believes are needed by it to so continue to provide such services and before it receives the needed instructions from the Fund, and DST shall have no liability for any damages (including without limitation penalties imposed by any tax authority) caused by or that result from its failure to provide services as contemplated by this sentence. DST will be protected in acting upon any paper or document reasonably believed by it to be genuine and to have been signed by the proper person or persons and will not be held to have notice of any change of authority of any person, until receipt of written notice thereof from the Fund. It will also be protected in recognizing stock certificates which it reasonably believes to bear the proper manual or facsimile signatures of the officers of the Fund, and the proper countersignature of any former transfer agent or registrar, or of a co-transfer agent or co-registrar.

If the Parties agree, procedures for good offices, conciliation or mediation may continue while the dispute proceeds for resolution before an arbitral tribunal appointed under Article 15.5. 3. All proceedings under this Article shall be confidential and without prejudice to the rights of either Party in any further proceedings under the provisions of this Chapter.
