Coverage During Absences. Employees shall be allowed to maintain their health plan coverage at the County group rate for twelve (12) months if on approved leave of absence provided that the employee shall pay the entire premium (i.e. both employer and employee share) for the health plan during said leave. Said payment shall be made by the employee at a time and place specified by the County. Late payment shall result in cancellation of health plan coverage.
