CPM PROGRESS SCHEDULE Clause Samples
The CPM Progress Schedule clause requires the contractor to develop and maintain a detailed project schedule using the Critical Path Method (CPM). This schedule typically outlines all major activities, their durations, dependencies, and the sequence in which they must be completed, often using specialized software. By mandating a CPM schedule, the clause ensures that both the contractor and the owner have a clear, up-to-date roadmap for project progress, helping to identify potential delays early and facilitating effective project management and coordination.
CPM PROGRESS SCHEDULE. THE THIRD PARAGRAPH IS CHANGED TO: The Contractor may propose alternate staging. Ensure that proposed alternate staging does not interfere with work done by Others without written concurrence from the affected Others. The Department may reject the proposed alternate staging if it causes an increase to the cost of work done by Others. The Contractor is responsible for the cost of changes or additional work required as a result of completing the work according to the proposed alternate staging.
CPM PROGRESS SCHEDULE. The Contractor shall update and submit its CPM Schedule, as required by Article 6.
