Credit During Military Leave. Time spent on a military leave of absence required by law or granted by the Employer on account of service with the armed forces of the United States, or with such allies as the Employer may determine, which the employee entered from full time employment with the Employer during a period of national emergency or on account of compulsory service, shall count as vesting and benefit credit if the employee returned or returns therefrom to work with the Employer within the period prescribed by law to retain employment rights, or in the absence of any applicable law, within ninety (90) days.

  • Holiday During Leave Should an employee be on authorized paid leave when a holiday occurs, such holiday shall not be charged against such leave or vacation.

  • Approved Leave of Absence With Pay During Vacation When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave, sick leave or any other approved leave with pay during her vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time.
