Credit for Military Service. Credit on the salary schedule will be granted at the rate of one year for each two years in the Armed Services to those entering teaching in the East Grand Rapids school system. (Maximum eight (8) years, including prior teacher service credit.) Full credit on the salary schedule for each year or major portion thereof in the Armed Services will be granted to those leaving East Grand Rapids’ teaching service and returning thereto.
