DAILY RATE RETENTION. Employees will be allowed daily rate retention at the rate of the highest rated classification worked by them during each shift, and such rate shall be used as the basis to calculate overtime.

DAILY RATE RETENTION. (a) Employees will be paid the highest classified rate held during their period of employment for all hours worked, regardless of the job duty performed if they are willing to perform in this previously held classification if the previously held classification continues to exist.
DAILY RATE RETENTION. Employees working in a higher rated classification for more than one half hour will be paid the higher rate for that portion of time. If the portion of time exceeds four (4) hours, the employee will be paid the higher rate for the entire shift and any overtime will be based on the higher rate.

  • Daily Rate of Pay In applying these provisions, an employee’s daily rate of pay shall be the daily rate of pay at the time of retirement, as provided in the basic salary schedule for the fiscal year, and shall not include any additional compensation for overtime, or other extra compensation.
