DAMAGE TO EMPLOYEE PROPERTY. 28.01 Where the personal property of an Employee, necessary to the performance of the Employee’s duties, is damaged by the resident in the execution of these duties, the Executive Director shall arrange to reimburse the Employee for reasonable expenses, or arrange for necessary repairs, if the Executive Director is satisfied that normal precautions against damage had been taken. Personal items include watches, glasses and clothing. This also includes damage to an Employee’s vehicle, by the resident, while on duty.

DAMAGE TO EMPLOYEE PROPERTY. 28.1 Where the personal property of an Employee, necessary to the performance of the Employee’s duties, and in compliance with Employer policy, is damaged by the client in the execution of these duties, the Executive Director shall arrange to reimburse the Employee for reasonable expenses, or arrange for necessary repairs, if the Executive Director is satisfied that normal precautions against damage had been taken. Personal items are watches, glasses and clothing; and damage to an Employee’s automobile, by the client, which occurs while transporting the client in the course of the Employee’s regular job requirements.
DAMAGE TO EMPLOYEE PROPERTY. 33.01 Where the personal property of an employee, necessary to the performance of the employee's duties, is damaged by the client in the execution of these duties, the employer shall arrange to reimburse the employee or arrange for necessary repairs to a maximum amount of three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) "per calendar year", if the employer is satisfied that normal precautions against damage had been taken and the damage did not result from the failure to act or from inappropriate action or behaviour on the part of the employee. Personal property is an employee's watch, glasses and clothing.

Personal property includes watches, glasses and clothing, and a vehicle where a client damages the vehicle while the Employee is using it with the approval of the Employer. In the event of damage to a vehicle, the Employer’s liability pursuant to this provision shall be the amount of the deductible, to a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500), on the Employee’s insurance or the actual cost of repair whichever is less. The Employee is required to perform the repair to qualify for reimbursement.
DAMAGE TO EMPLOYEE PROPERTY. 16.01 In the event When an Employee, in the performance of their duty, suffers damage to their personal effects or clothing which is caused by a client or a work-related incident at any facility operated by the Employer, the Employer will reimburse the Employee for any reasonable expenses, including cleaning, repair and / or replacement of the personal effects described in the following paragraph. provided the Employee has exercised appropriate discretion in dressing for the work environment. All incidents of loss suffered by an Employee, in the performance of their duty, shall be reported in writing by the Employee within five (5) business days of the incident to the Employer or their designated representative. For further clarity this provision shall only apply in respect to personal effects which the Employee would, in the Employer’s determination, reasonably be expected to have in their possession during the performance of their duty. Personal effects that may be subject to replacement, or reasonable reimbursement by the Employer may include, but are not limited to articles of clothing, watches, eye wear, and damage to vehicle interiors, excepting normal wear and tear.

Employees shall take reasonable measures to not expose expensive/luxury items of personal property to risk.
