Day in Lieu. A Full-time Employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay on or for a Named Holiday provided the Full-time Employee: (a) works their scheduled shift immediately prior to and immediately following the Holiday except where the Employee is absent due to illness or other reasons acceptable to the Employer; (b) works on the Named Holiday when scheduled or required to do so.
