Common use of Declared Holidays Clause in Contracts

Declared Holidays. Those employees who are employed as Fire Prevention, Training or Emergency Planning personnel are entitled to a holiday with pay on the following Statutory Holidays: New Year's Day, B.C. Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, British Columbia Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and any other day proclaimed by the Corporation or by the Federal or British Columbia Governments to be a public holiday.

Those employees who are employed as Fire Prevention, Training or Emergency Planning Prevention personnel are entitled to a holiday with pay on the following Statutory Holidays: New Year's Day, B.C. Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria the day proclaimed by the Government of Canada for the celebration of the Queen's Birthday, Dominion Day, Canada Day, British Columbia Daythe first Monday in August, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and any other day proclaimed by the Corporation or by the Federal or British Columbia Governments to be a public holiday.
