Prescribed Holidays. (a) A full-time employee under this agreement is entitled to the following public holidays, without loss of pay:

Prescribed Holidays. An employee, other than a casual employee is entitled to payment at the employee’s normal ordinary hourly rate of pay for the following public holidays: • New Year’s Day. • Australia DayGood FridayEaster MondayAnzac Day • Adelaide Cup Day • Queens Birthday • Labour DayChristmas Day • Proclamation Day or such other day proclaimed by the State Holidays Act or State Proclamation in substitution for any of the above days in which case the substituted day will be deemed to be the holiday for the purposes of this Agreement.

Prescribed Holidays. 19.1.1 An Employee on weekly hire shall be entitled, without loss of pay to public holidays, as follows: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queens Birthday, Eight Hours' Day or Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or such other day as is generally observed in a locality as a substitute for any of the mentioned days respectively. 19.1.2 In addition to the public holidays prescribed in paragraph 19.1.1 hereof, one additional public holiday shall apply to an Employee on weekly hire. Such a holiday is to be agreed on by the Employer and the majority of Employees in the establishment concerned. 19.1.3 Where in a State or Territory or locality within a State or Territory an additional public holiday is proclaimed or gazetted by the authority of the Commonwealth Government or of a State or Territory Government and such proclaimed or gazetted holiday is to be observed generally by persons throughout that State or Territory or a locality thereof, other than by those covered by Federal Agreements, or when such a proclaimed or gazetted day is, by any required Judicial or administrative order, to be so observed, then such day shall be deemed to be a holiday for the purposes of this Agreement for Employees covered by this Agreement who are employed in the State, Territory or locality in respect of which the holiday has been proclaimed or ordered as required.

Prescribed Holidays. All Employees (excluding casuals) will be entitled, without loss of pay to public holidays as follows: New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday, Six Hour Day (or Labour Day), Christmas Day, Boxing Day or such other day as is generally observed in the locality as a substitute for any of the said days respectively, and/or proclaimed or gazetted as a holiday.
Prescribed Holidays. Full-time and part time employees under this Agreement are entitled to the following public holidays, without loss of pay: New Year Day Australia Day Good Friday Easter Saturday Easter Monday Anzac Day Queen's Birthday Labour Day Bendigo Cup Christmas Day Boxing Day Where another day is generally observed in a locality in substitute for any of the above days, that day shall be observed as the public holiday in lieu of the prescribed day.

Employees are entitled to such payment for any day that is a gazetted public holiday, including where the public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday. b) Subject to clause 28, in addition the first Monday in December of each year shall be the picnic day which for the purposes of this Agreement will be a public holiday. c) For the avoidance of doubt, an employee who is a permanent part-time employee, is entitled to receive a full day’s payment for the public holiday(s) irrespective of the days worked.
