Definition of Ordinary Pay. The definition of Ordinary pay where it appears in any legislation shall be substituted by the following definition: "Ordinary Pay - In relation to any employee means remuneration for the employees weekly number of hours of work calculated at the ordinary time rate of pay and where the employee is provided with board or lodgings by the Employer, includes the cash value of that board or lodging."

Definition of Ordinary Pay. In this Document “ordinary pay” means the normal payment received by an employee for his or her ordinary hours at the time of receiving notice of retrenchment and includes over-award payment and other allowances.
