(These parents do not have the option of direct coverage.) Note: Under CHIPRA and at the State’s request, this population has been automatically extended through September 30, 2011. If the State wants to extend coverage to parents beyond September 30, 2011, the State will need to notify CMS prior to the September 30, 2011 expiration date of coverage for this population. The CHIPRA also provides States with the option in fiscal years 2012 and 2013 to continue covering parents with title XXI funds if they achieve outreach and benchmarks related to performance in providing coverage to children.
Demonstration Population 3. TANF Adults 30-116-EG consists of adults whose Medicaid eligibility derives from their status as a relative caring for a child, or a pregnant woman whose income is 31 percent through 116 percent FPL.
