Department Seniority. 1. The employee's departmental seniority shall accumulate continuously from the date of most recent employment in the department until terminated by provisions of this Agreement. 2. Departmental seniority is defined as the length of an employee's continuous employment within one of the departments listed below. i. Food Service Support Staff ii. Paraprofessional Support Staff 3. When more than one (1) employee is hired on the same day, departmental seniority will be determined by the last 4 digits of the employee’s social security number (higher number = higher seniority).
