Description of Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer shall install a wind Generating Facility in Codington, Duel, and Grant Counties in South Dakota and is interconnecting into the Transmission Owner’s Big Stone South substation in Grant County, SD. G736 Generating Facility is composed of eighty-seven (87) GE 2.3MW wind turbines. The J442 Generating Facility is composed of eighty-seven (87) GE 2.3 MW wind turbines. Interconnection Service provided under this agreement is 400 XX xxxxx of Conditional ERIS (200MW for G736 and 200MW for J442) that will become 400 XX xxxxx of ERIS and/or NRIS (200MW for G736 and 200MW for J442), where NRIS cannot exceed 400 XX xxxxx (200MW for G736 and 200MW for J442) upon completion of all Network Upgrades and transmission projects in Exhibit A10. Interconnection Customer shall install appropriate protection equipment per Appendix C, Interconnection Details to this GIA. G736 Interconnection Customer’s collector substation will include one transformer rated 135/180/225 MVA to increase voltage from 34.5 kV to 230 kV and a 230kV circuit breaker. The J442 switchyard shall contain a 34.5/230 kV generator step up transformer, rated at 135/180/225 MVA, and a high side breaker.

Description of Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer shall install Fermi III Nuclear plant facility, rated at 1563 MW net, with all studies performed at or below these outputs. Interconnection Customer has proposed to construct and operate an ESBWR designed by GE-Hitachi Neclear Energy Americas, LLC at the existing Fermi site in Monroe County, Michigan. According to design documents, the reactor has a rated core thermal power of 4500 megawatts thermal (MWt) and a gross electrical output of approximately 1605 +/- 50 megawatts electric (MWe). The total interconnection Service is 1563 need net number MW of conditional ERIS which will become a combined total of 1563 need net number MW of NRIS and ERIS where the NRIS cannot exceed 1563 need net number MW upon completion of all needed facilities identified in this GIA. The Generating Facility will be located on existing Fermi property in Frenchtown Twp. in Monroe County, Michigan and connect to the Transmission Owner’s 345 kV Transmission System. Interconnection Customer shall install the appropriate protection equipment coordinated per Appendix C to this GIA. The Fermi III main generator feeds electric power through a 27 kV isolated-phase bus to a bank of three single-phase transformers, stepping the generator voltage up to the transmission voltage of 345 kV.
Description of Generating Facility. The following is a description of the Generating Facility provided by the Interconnector. Additional information shall be provided by the 10 Interconnector as requested by Operator.
Description of Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility will consist of two phases. Phase I (GEN-2013-002) consists of twenty-two (22) Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTG), for a total of 50.6MW and Phase II (GEN-2013-019) consists of thirty-two (32) Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTG) for a total of 73.6MW. The total Interconnection Service for the Generating Facility is 124.2 MW. The wind turbines will be equipped with the manufacturer’s low voltage ride through package to comply with the requirements of Appendix G. The generating facility is required to provide between 95% lagging (providing vars) and 95% leading (absorbing vars) power factor at the Point of Interconnection to meet the power factor requirements as given in the System Impact Study. The use of different wind turbine generators will require a new System Impact Study.
Description of Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer shall install a 36 XX xxxxx, 35 MW net wind energy Generating Facility with all studies performed at or below the gross and net output as applicable. The Generating Facility shall include fifteen (15) Nordex N100 2.5 (hard-wire de-rated to 2.4 MW by the manufacturer) Wind Turbine Generators (“WTGs”). The Interconnection Service provided under this agreement is 35 MW net of Conditional ERIS that will become a total of 35 MW net ERIS and/or NRIS, at the election of the Interconnection Customer, where NRIS cannot exceed 35 MW upon completion of all Interconnection Studies and Network Upgrades identified in the Interconnection Studies. Each WTG connects to a 34.5 kV collector feeder through a 2,750 KVA, 660 volt/34.5 kV padmount transformer. Each collector feeder terminates at the 34.5 kV bus, at the low side of the main step-up transformer, within the Interconnection Customer’s collector substation. The Interconnection Customer’s step–up transformer is rated at 34.5/69 kV and 36 MVA and has an Interconnection Customer 69 kV main breaker. Interconnection Customer installed a switchyard with the appropriate protection equipment coordinated per Appendix C to this GIA. The switchyard contains one generator step-up transformer and one 69 kV circuit breaker connected in radial fashion. A one-line diagram of the connection in the Interconnection Customer’s collection substation is shown in Exhibit A1-1.

Description of Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer shall install an 8 MW Biogas Landfill Energy System (“Generating Facility”). All studies were performed based on the assumption that the Facility will have a total net output not to exceed 8MW at the POI. The (J256) Generating Facility will connect to the Transmission Owner’s 69 kV Plymouth Substation Circuit 6968. A one-line diagram of the Interconnection Customer’s proposed substation is shown in Exhibit A1-1. Upon completion of the Interconnection Facilities and Network Upgrades identified in this GIA the Interconnection Customer Service shall be 8 MW (Net at the POI) of ER Interconnection Service.

The customer is required to maintain a composite power delivery at a continuous rated power output at the high-side of the generator substation at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging in accordance with FERC Order 827. Additionally, the Interconnection Customer will be required to install any equipment necessary to meet the voltage schedule requirements in Article 9.6.2 of this Agreement.
