Affected System Upgrades. 3.1.1 GTC shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Affected System Upgrades.
3.1.2 Generator shall reimburse GTC for all costs of the design, procurement, construction and installation of the Affected System Upgrades pursuant to Section 3.1, and all related costs and expenses, including but not limited to, all legal, administrative, accounting and other costs that GTC would not have incurred but for the Generator Interconnection to the Transmission Provider (which is interconnected with the ITS and the GTC System). GTC shall xxxx Generator for such costs in accordance with Section 9.1, and Generator shall be responsible for payment in accordance with Section 9.1 of this Agreement for all GTC Work. GTC shall perform all GTC Work in accordance with Good Utility Practice.
Affected System Upgrades the additions, modifications, and upgrades to the GTC System set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement, which are required in order to accommodate the Generator Interconnection and mitigate the Adverse System Impacts, as explained in the Facilities Study.
Affected System Upgrades. The Interconnection Facilities Study for the Small Generating Facility identified Xxxxx Solar LLC (“Xxxxx”), an affiliate of the Interconnection Customer, as an Affected System Operator. Xxxxx will own a collector substation for the Xxxxx Solar project (Q833) – the Xxxxx Solar Collector Substation - that will be impacted by the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility. In particular, the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility will require the need for DTT between the Xxxxxx Solar Collector Substation and the Xxxxx Solar Collector Substation. The related Affected System Upgrades at the Xxxxx Solar Collector Substation include engineering of the relay upgrade required for the DTT, procurement of the relay and minor wiring materials required, installation and testing of the relay at the Xxxxx Solar Collector Substation site, and review by Connecting Transmission Owner. The cost estimate (+30%/-15%, in 2023 dollars) of the Affected System Upgrades is $180,000. The Interconnection Customer has agreed with Xxxxx that the Affected System Upgrades shall be reflected in the Small Generator Interconnection Agreement for the Dolar Solar Project (Q833) among Xxxxx, Connecting Transmission Owner, and the NYISO (NYISO OATT Service Agreement No. 2720), that Xxxxx will be responsible for performing the Affected System Upgrades work in accordance with the terms of that interconnection agreement and subject to Connecting Transmission Owner’s oversight, that Xxxxx will reimburse Connecting Transmission Owner for any oversight costs concerning the Affected System Upgrades work required under the terms of that interconnection agreement, and that Interconnection Customer will separately address with Xxxxx any cost reimbursement as between the two entities concerning the Affected System Upgrades work. If the Small Generating Facility or the Xxxxx Solar Project is terminated or is delayed in a manner that impacts the scope or timing of the Affected System Upgrades work, the Interconnection Customer shall coordinate with the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, and Xxxxx concerning any required modifications to the Affected System Upgrades, and the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, and Interconnection Customer shall amend this Agreement to reflect any required changes.
Affected System Upgrades. Additions, modifications and upgrades to Affected Systems, excluding the Distribution System, that will be
Affected System Upgrades. Kansas substation is on the Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois (ATXI) transmission system. Interconnection Customer is required to enter into a Facilities Construction Agreement with Transmission Provider and ATXI for construction of a new wave trap and tuner at Kansas 345kV substation, on the line going to the new J468 interconnection switching station. Interconnection Customer is required to enter into an agreement with PJM, under the PJM tariff rules, to reconductor or rebuild the Dequine – Meadowlake 345 kV line circuit ‘2’, replace the Dequine riser and wavetrap, adjust Meadowlake relay trip limit. Cost could be less if engineering determines that reconductoring is feasible by utilizing existing tower structures. PJM Network Upgrade N5066. Cost sharing is available under PJM tariff.
Affected System Upgrades. List Interconnection Customer is responsible to enter into necessary agreements with Affected System Owner for Interconnection Customer’s share of following upgrades: 8. Common Use Upgrades List
Affected System Upgrades. None at this point, may change upon completion of all Interconnection Studies.
Affected System Upgrades. The Affected System Upgrades shall include another 115 kV breaker and two disconnect switches to isolate Exelon West Medway, LLC’s existing generating facility (Unit J-3) from the Shared Facilities described above, as well as associated conductors, support structures, and ancilliary equipment.
Affected System Upgrades. The Interconnection Customer is responsible to enter into a Facilities Construction Agreement with Transmission Provider and Affected System Owner for the following Affected System Upgrades: For J1180:
i. Upgrade relaying at the Xxxxxxxx terminal for the Xxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxxx 345 kV transmission line to be compatible with the relaying to be installed at the Xxxxxx switching station.
ii. Add OPGW to the AEP owned segment of the Xxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxxx 345 kV transmission line to provide a communications path for the relaying.
iii. Upgrade facilities on Ameren and AEP-owned ends of the Xxxxxxxx 345kV line to relieve overloads and reconfigure circuit. For J1475:
i. Reconductor/rebuild 0.82 miles of ACAR ~ 1024.5 ~ 30/7 ~ RAIL1 conductor section 5 on the Xxxxxxxx – J1180 Tap 345 kV line Despite being a signatory to this GIA, the responsibilities for Affected System Upgrades are those of the Interconnection Customer, not Transmission Owner. Transmission Owner takes no position on the upgrade identified in this Appendix A Section 7(a), and this section creates no obligation nor enforceable right on behalf of Transmission Owner.
