Common use of Directed Attendance Clause in Contracts

Directed Attendance. 1. Occurs when an employee is instructed to attend a developmental/educational function to enhance job performance. 2. Occurs when an employee requires additional training/education because he/she has been assigned new duties and responsibilities. 3. Expenses connected to directed attendance may not be considered staff development expenses and may not be deducted from staff development allocations. 4. Directed attendance must be approved by the Director of Student Health Center or designee.
