Disaster Recovery Facilities. 20.1 Every participant shall maintain appropriate backup and disaster recovery facilities to resume the processing of payments and securities settlements within two hours of any event that hinders its ability to send or receive payments or securities settlements instructions to or from MEPS+. 20.2 Where any event that hinders the ability of a participant to send or receive payments or securities settlement instructions to or from MEPS+ occurs, the participant shall: (a) inform the Service Provider of that event, including the recovery of operations and activation of manual backup procedures (if any); (b) as a last resort, request the Service Provider to provide manual backup services if and when: (i) its own efforts at restoring operations at both its production and disaster recovery sites have failed; or (ii) it is not practicable for the participant to attempt to restore operations at its production or disaster recovery site (e.g. if the event occurs near the close of MEPS+ operating hours and the participant has only a few instructions to be transmitted in MEPS+); (c) update the Service Provider at least every thirty (30) minutes on the status of the event in Rule 20.1; (d) where necessary, request the Service Provider to extend the MEPS+ operating hours to complete its Transactions for the day, subject to the payment of the administrative fees set out in Schedule 4 to these Rules. The extension of the MEPS+ operating hours is provided at the Service Provider’s discretion, and any extension of the MEPS+ operating hours shall not affect the cut-off time for cheque, IBG and FAST clearing and SGSMB transactions, but shall extend the MCB funding period correspondingly; and

  • Disaster Recovery PFPC shall enter into and shall maintain in effect with appropriate parties one or more agreements making reasonable provisions for emergency use of electronic data processing equipment to the extent appropriate equipment is available. In the event of equipment failures, PFPC shall, at no additional expense to the Fund, take reasonable steps to minimize service interruptions. PFPC shall have no liability with respect to the loss of data or service interruptions caused by equipment failure, provided such loss or interruption is not caused by PFPC's own willful misfeasance, bad faith, gross negligence or reckless disregard of its duties or obligations under this Agreement.

  • Disaster Recovery Plan Contractor agrees that upon request of System Agency, Contractor shall provide copies of its most recent business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

  • BUSINESS CONTINUITY/DISASTER RECOVERY In the event of equipment failure, work stoppage, governmental action, communication disruption or other impossibility of performance beyond State Street’s control, State Street shall take reasonable steps to minimize service interruptions. Specifically, State Street shall implement reasonable procedures to prevent the loss of data and to recover from service interruptions caused by equipment failure or other circumstances with resumption of all substantial elements of services in a timeframe sufficient to meet business requirements. State Street shall enter into and shall maintain in effect at all times during the term of this Agreement with appropriate parties one or more agreements making reasonable provision for (i) periodic back-up of the computer files and data with respect to the Trusts; and (ii) emergency use of electronic data processing equipment to provide services under this Agreement. State Street shall test the ability to recover to alternate data processing equipment in accordance with State Street program standards, and provide a high level summary of business continuity test results to the Trusts upon request. State Street will remedy any material deficiencies in accordance with State Street program standards. Upon reasonable advance notice, and at no cost to State Street, the Trusts retain the right to review State Street’s business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, and third-party vendor management processes and programs (including discussions with the relevant subject matter experts and an on-site review of the production facilities used) related to delivery of the service no more frequently than an annual basis. Upon reasonable request, the State Street also shall discuss with senior management of the Trusts any business continuity/disaster recovery plan of the State Street and/or provide a high-level presentation summarizing such plan.”

  • Laundry Facilities Washers and dryers are installed in each apartment for the exclusive use of students in the apartment. Any other use is prohibited. The use of washers and dryers are free. LINEN: Brighton provides a mattress cover on all mattresses. Students need to bring their own bedding. All beds are regular twin size. The typical cost for replacing a mattress cover is $25.00. MAINTENANCE: Students are responsible to notify the manager in writing as soon as possible if they notice anything in an apartment that requires repair work or maintenance. See “Property Conditions” section 12 of the BYU-Idaho Student Landlord Housing Contract.

  • Disaster Services In the event of a local, state, or federal emergency, including natural, man-made, criminal, terrorist, and/or bioterrorism events, declared as a state disaster by the Governor, or a federal disaster declared by the appropriate federal official, Grantee may be called upon to assist the System Agency in providing the following services: i. Community evacuation; ii. Health and medical assistance; iii. Assessment of health and medical needs; iv. Health surveillance; v. Medical care personnel; vi. Health and medical equipment and supplies; vii. Patient evacuation; viii. In-hospital care and hospital facility status; ix. Food, drug and medical device safety; x. Worker health and safety; xi. Mental health and substance abuse; xii. Public health information; xiii. Vector control and veterinary services; and xiv. Victim identification and mortuary services.

  • Developer Attachment Facilities Developer shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control the Developer Attachment Facilities described in Appendix A hereto, at its sole expense.

  • Maintenance Programme (i) The Contractor shall prepare a monthly maintenance programme (the “Maintenance Programme”) in consultation with the Authority’s Engineer and submit the same to the Authority’s Engineer not later than 10 (ten) days prior to the commencement of the month in which the Maintenance is to be carried out. For this purpose a joint monthly inspection by the Contractor and the Authority’s Engineer shall be undertaken.
